KETTERING TOWN SILVER BAND - Who's Who
David Parker
David Parker plays Principal Euphonium and has done for many years. He started in the band at the age of 6 years in early 1975 with no breaks in between. He has played with several other bands including Bishop Stopford School, Corby Silver Band, Corby District Band, Kettering Gold and Silver, Kettering Harmony Band, Gretton Silver Band, Kibworth Band, Rushden Windmill Band, Rushden Mission Band and has competed in several contests with bands and solo and quartet contests. He also went along to the Finedon Sandemans Carnival Band for a few years to help teach music and participated.
Kelvin Nobles
Kelvin joined us in xxxx and has been our principal Solo
Cornet player for the last xxxx.
John Penfold
John plays Solo Cornet for us but does love the Trumpet first.
Neil Parker
Neil plays the Repiano Cornet for us. He has come back to join us after many years out
Gemma Ashford
Gemma plays the Flugel Horn
Daniel Ashford
Daniel plays Solo Tenor Horn.
Jodi Allen
Jodi joined us in 2024 as our 2nd Horn/1st Horn player. She also plays for Rushden
Mission Band.
Kathryn Martin
Kathryn joind us in 2024 as our 2nd Euphonium player.
Chris Music
Chris became our new conductor in June 2023.
Margaret Nutt
Margaret plays 1st Baritone for us and also plays in several other bands.
Jez Burns
Jez joined us in 2015, after a long time out, on Eb Bass. Previous bands were Kettering Gold And Silver & Northamptonshire County Youth.
Rebecca Dunk
Rebecca joined us in January 2017 and is our 1st Trombone player.
Mark Sliwinski
Mark Joined us in 2023 after a break of 30 years of playing and plays 2nd Trombone.
Steve
Steve is our Bass Trombone player and joined us in XXXX.

Claudia Tomkins
Claudia joined in in 2025 and became our 3rd Euphonium player.
Benjamin Pepperell
Ben joined us in 2021 as our Percussionist.
